The Rattlers look real. Howard got trounced by a pretty good Rutgers team last week. It might be more interesting than we would think. TV time is 7:30.

Watched the FAMU-WSSU game last week - FAMU didn't look good.HIU 93 wrote:The Rattlers look real. Howard got trounced by a pretty good Rutgers team last week. It might be more interesting than we would think. TV time is 7:30.
FAMU is smoking Howard now 24-0 with 9:07 left in the 2nd Quarter.danefan wrote:Watched the FAMU-WSSU game last week - FAMU didn't look good.HIU 93 wrote:The Rattlers look real. And Rutgers isn't anywhere near "pretty good". Did you see the Cincy game? Smoked.
With all that being said - I'll be watching the game tonight. Hopefully FAMU and Pulley will put on a better performance than last week.
Howard is not very good, but their defense is supposedly good. We just haven't seen it yet. 31-10 FAMU with :25 left in the 2nd quarter.slycat wrote:Wow. People said FAMU was a team to watch out for. How is Howard supposed to be this season?
There is a lot of football to be played yet.danefan wrote:FAMU looks 100 times better than they did last week. No doubt about it.
With that being said, the strength of the MEAC as a whole and the way this season is playing out for the major conferences will mean, IMO, that the winner of SC State vs. FAMU will go to Elon in Round 1 (Socon AQ) and the loser will go home for turkey day.
Either will do the MEAC proud in the first round though.
Very true. Just my best guess but FAMU better beat Miami in two weeks if they want to be considered for an at-large with a loss to SC State. Same goes for SC State vs. USC.HIU 93 wrote:There is a lot of football to be played yet.danefan wrote:FAMU looks 100 times better than they did last week. No doubt about it.

Unless Elon gets a seed, they would almost certainly go to SCSU/FAMU (in the event that is the matchup). Those two draw a bit more than the Phoenix.danefan wrote:IMO, that the winner of SC State vs. FAMU will go to Elon in Round 1 (Socon AQ) and the loser will go home for turkey day.

I'll remember the name, but we may not hear it very often. There is no way I'm punting to him. I'd rather go for it.HIU 93 wrote:48-10 FAMU 2:07 left in the 3rd. LEROY VANN- remember that name. He now has 4 punts returned for TDs in 3 games this season for FAMU.
