CSU took an early lead. Good to see Weber keep pace and get back in the game.

Nice to see TRaylor Sedillo, a LINEBACKER, leading in tackles.

Both defenses are now fired up! Mid way through the third, Higgins has now been sacked once and intercepted once.
But the Weber defense has responded with a goal line stand and it's Weber's ball 1st and 10 on their own 36!
What a barn burner!!!

Higgins threw another pick and CSU marched down the field for a TD.
Colorado State leads 24-23 mid way through the fourth quarter.

Weber has 1st. down at the CSU 32. Not sure how much time is left (watching Gametracker). They've converted two 4th & 1s on this drive.

Was there a bad shotgun snap earlier? Higgins has 3 carries for minus-26 yards according to Gametracker.
CSU takes a timeout with 1:47 left.
21 yard pass to Collins down to the 11.

It was just over 4 minutes at the start of the drive. Would be nice to finish with a score as the clock expires. Just a little closer to get within Snoy's range.

Higgins to Collins for 21 yards and a 1st down at the CSU 11!
So far Higgins is 28 of 46 for 237 yards and 2 TDs.
1:47 remains in the game!

CSU is out of timeouts. Weber should be able to run the thing down to nothing before kicking if they so choose.

Uh, oh. Weber just ran out of bounds on second down.
Even more uh, oh. HIggins sacked & fumbled. CSU will run the clock out & win.

Tough one for Weber, but shows they weren't just a one year team.

Higgins sacked and fumbles... CSU 3d and 15 on their own five with 31 seconds...

Bad play call there. Why would you pass when you could run up the middle & set up a basic XP.

Sh!tty placekicking, turnovers, bad play calling...
Enough blame to spread all around...
But lots of good stuff, too!
FCS, watch out!

I didn't get to see this game, but from the sound of it, Weber State played better this week than they did against Wyoming in Week 1. Colorado State should wind up being a better team than the Cowboys. We should remember that CSU beat Sacramento State last year by a FG, but I don't think it really takes away from the Wildcat performance.

After reading this thread, and watching the Griz performance against UCDavis last night, one thing is crystal clear: If the Griz don't get their shit together in a hurry, they will get WAXED by Weber on Halloween.
I have NEVER seen the Griz look worse than they did last night. Out of synch, mental errors, dropped passes, the center hiking the ball before Selle was even under center, pathetic running game, HORRID pass defense (and this is what really scares me against Weber), and just all-around lackadaisical play.
Unless the Griz figure something out big-time, I can see 2, maybe three league losses this year.

One loss to Eastern for sure. And you wsu fans can blame Weber's qb for blowinging it like a whore on prom night.
