UTC going to be much better than we thought?

I know some will say that you can't use DII teams as a measuring stick, but I disagree. UTC topples Glenville State 34-13. Now Gville State isn't a great DII but they are pretty solid and they gave Liberty a better game than Elon did last year. I think to dominate a team in that fashion you cannot possibly be a cupcake.
If Wagner has WCU tuned up like I think he does, there is going to be absolutely no days off in the SoCon this year.

Yeah, I think UTC will suprise a team or two this year.
They apparently had ~14,000 for their attendence as well.

Good to see UTC handle a team they should.

AS happy as I am about UTC winning that game, that is the most important stat. Getting the Chattanooga fans back in the game will be a big boost for a team that seemed to have more visiting fans than home fans. Good news for Chat and congrats to all involved in getting the crowds in the game.

Not having to play a game on the same day as the big orange probably really helped with attendance.

That's true. But I am pulling for them. Being an old timer, I remember the days when UTC was one of the teams to beat in the conference. It was a long time ago.

That's the truth OL FU... I was in Chatty for the GSU/UTC game last October and the GSU folks had the UTC folks outnumbered... it was sad really, I felt bad for their players.
