DP should do just fine. This team isn't all about Edwards. They are better with him, but App's supporting cast is fantastic. AE was good as a freshman, but you also have to look at the guys that played around him.

I know, I know, it sounds like I'm trying to talk myself down...

ECU 38 App 17.

I saw DP at WCU last year and thought he'd have a better game. Granted, most of our second string was getting playing time and he still racked up Rookie of the week and SoCon player of the week, but I don't know how he'll do against a better opponent. I'm encouraged that he's been taking the majority of snaps since spring - we'll just have to see how the jitters are when we take the field. I'd love to see him crush the Pierates and hear what excuses they have. It should also be interesting to see what we can do with a full complement of RB's this year.

That's right G8. We have healthy group of talented backs that should help take some of that pressure off.

It will be interesting. Especially if the rumors are true that AE won't be ready for the Cowboys on 9/12...
