Cool idea Willie. You could be very subtle about it and just put the winning pick as the team on top and we would know your pick without you even having to say it.

My week 2 prediction...

I didn't just create this thread to say "oh I wanna pick some games and hopefully I win". The purpose is to create some chatter about it.

For example...

Do you agree with the pick? Am I a tool for this pick? What is your prediction...etc

App over McNeese I'd say is almost a gimme pick. That's like picking the Patriots over the Cowboys... the latter team looks impressive, but folds under pressure. McNeese struggled against lower level competition last week, whereas ASU made a huge comeback and almost beat an FBS team. No brainer.

I agree with the pick as well. It may not go that way but I would be very surprised if it didn't. Southland teams always like to think they have a speed advantage (especially McNeese pushers) and it is at times true but I don't see that in this game. App. will be faster and more talented. The one thing that Southland teams always seem to lack is strength and physicality and that is definitely the McNeese teams I've seen. App. has both of these qualities as well so I think you are gonna see backs taking out Defensive Ends and linebackers all day long and whichever qb App uses running through that defense like the proverbial hot knife.

I agree with your pick here Willie. Just don't pick TCU over TXST next week. That's a definite no brainer.

McNeese is getting by on rep. We're trying to build one. We gave up no D TD's the first half against Angelo and only 29 yds on the ground. At the end of the 3rd we had a lot of 2nd & 3rd stringers in and still scored 3 more TD's. McNeese had to keep their top guns in to come back on a team I have never heard of. I don't see them making a whole bunch of noise against App, especially with Edwards back.

App should win this one easily, maybe close but not a edge of your seat type game.

Anyone from the Southland know much about NSU? UND put up a good fight against Texas Tech, which is why I picked them over the Demons.

I don't think this one is that crazy of a pick. You never know after Washington over USC. This one seems more likely then that one.
