Unfortunately, nothing tells me otherwise, Mountie. The closest games on the docket will likely be Presby/FU, ASU/ECU, and maybe Samford/Central Fla. I'm not sure any of those will be within a touchdown.

Yeah.

Especially for ASU, the Armanti injury has sapped what little excitement I had to begin with about the ECU game. I say give Presley the start and let AE have another week to heal. The important games start with McNeese.

There was a pick for Albany to walk into Paulson and steal a win. That's pretty bold imo.

While it could happen, I don't look for the FU PC game to be that close. Close at halftime. The new PC coach has a lot to turn around and I think it is too much to ask for in one season. First game might help but I doubt it. PC pulled the big upset last year against Liberty but other than that the season was pretty bad. I;m guessing 35 -17 with maybe FU getting a few more points although the PC fans seem to think defense will be there strong point this year even though defense certainly wasn't their strong point last year.
Aside, apparently Forcier will not see action. he hasn't practiced all week due to a cut on his leg from a bicycle accident. Was looking forward to seeing what he could do.
Article in the Gville news today says that sorrells will run the ball this year.

Fingers crossed.

I agree with your picks. I think GSU Albany has the potential to be the most interesting and the closest. I picked GSU by a couple of touchdowns elsewhere. I do think that is possible depending on what kinda mood GSU is in
