I think App is making a mistake playing Edwards in this game.

I don't know.
I do know that Appy has seemed to fall off the radar after the Michigan game. Of course, I guess that is to be expected.

They could beat us without him. If I was Jerry Moore, I'd be holding out Edwards as long as I could.
I suspect we'll knock him out for the season on Saturday. Not saying I'm hoping for that, just that I think theres a good chance it'll happen. If it does, then App can kiss a three-peat good bye.

I think this is a bad move. I'm not sure that Armanti's shoulder is completely healed. If not, that makes him only a running threat. Sure, he is a great runner, but anyone can stop a running game if you put 8 in the box

It's a tough call but playing Edwards is a bad move, IMO. I know if I were going after him, I would attack his shoulder and take him out. The player is more important than the win.

The problem is that if that shoulder is so weak it'll be gone again in the first playoff game. How long should he stay out? Until we make the NC? Do we even make the NC without him?

Elder is good, but App isn't nearly as good with him, as they are with Edwards.
If I was Moore, I'd hold Edwards out until the second half of the 2nd to last regular season game. Just let him get 5 or 6 quarters of football under his belt before making a playoff run. I think he's playing right into our hands by playing Edwards.
Let's also not forget that App has quite a bit on the line in this game too. If we knock them off, that means App is in the exact same position as us, with 3/4 games to play. This is truly a huge game. While on paper, it looks like App will win going away, I have watch enough of Jayson Foster to know that as long as he is Georgia Southern's QB, we have a shot to win.
I smell Larry Beard preparing a pancake right in Armanti Edwards' kitchen. BOOM!

After what happened last year, I think Georgia Southern will really will play their hearts out and get the W in Boone tomorrow.

A win is a win.
Oh helllll yea!!!!!
The key to the game was Ewards ineffectivness in the passing game in the second half, and Lamar Lewis. When Lamar is in the game, we are as good as any team in the country on offense. Believe it.

Congrats GSU....
If you look at the Appy season so far, it has been very similar to YSU's... only that they escaped a win vs. Michigan..
Appy 2 losses
YSU 3 losses
Who would've thought?

Elder outplayed Armanti today
Coach Moore made a huge mistake by putting Armanti back in for the last series

Actually, in my blog, I predicted that App would loss a couple of games due to complacency after the Michigan win. Check the second to last paragraph from this post on September 7th.

So is Armanti not healthy, or having a sophomore slump, or what's the deal?

Edwards has nowhere near the arm strength he needs to play
His passes seem to float, thus easy pickins
