There was too much pride in the room for most to admit who their team might lose to, so it's best left to speculation, The Older Gentleman submitted a 6-5 record for Gardner Webb in absentia (since they pay his bills ).

Sounds like quite a bit of wishful thinking from the opposition.

ASU has gone 26-3 in the SoCon (50-9 overall) since 2005 and there's certainly every reason to believe that the train will keep rolling along.

I think you didn't read this correctly. The record is for the school of the picker. The list of 4 schools is the predicted order of finish. Everybody picked APP first

Not as certain as I was about ASU being dominant, but they are still the team to beat. While they weren't on the list Samford would be at 5, Citadel at 6 and GSU at 7 (with an asterisk cuz who they hell knows which GSU team will show up from week to week)

Amazing what happens in a few short weeks....App has to run the table after two games, Wofford is suffering from two major injuries in a QB and a leading tackler. I'll stick with my predictions, but I thought we'd be 1-1 right now or wishfully thinking 2-0.

Agree....I picked 8-3 thinking two conf losses....guess if they actually finish 8-3 with one conf loss, they're chances of winning conf improve greatly..... .... ...seriously, have you seen our defense? Niether have we......

I had 9-2 with a conference loss. Now I guess I'd go with a very nervous 8-3. The scary question is, if we go 7-4 do we miss the playoffs?

Thought they moved the ball on their 1st 2 drives real good but, alas, 2 turnovers destroyed any confidence. Not sure even Wagner can turn WCU around but I will love them and support them until the day I die.

I think you're just saying that because you don't give any credit to your own team, with all due respect. Western returns 7 of their starters on offense and they are in the second year in Wagner's system. I wasn't all that impressed with what I saw from GSU on offense against WCU but defensively you have to give them some credit. Somehow I think not many SoCon teams will hold them to single digits.

You are correct, I don't give much credit to GSU. Our inconsistant play for the past few years will do that. We tend to rise and fall in direct relation to the level of the competition. And I am going to hold off on calling the Defense improved until I see what they do against Elon. The SDSU game is a good reason why.

I stand by what I said about WCU, but I'm not going to beat them up about it.
