True, but lets not put them down for that...

I'm going to say they go 0-2 against the FBS but I do think they'll be competitive in both games. Maybe if the Wildcats were on a neutral field against Wyoming, I'd favor them. Historically, the Cowboys have been tougher to beat in Laramie.

I just hope they don't beat us! Anyone else they beat, good for them!!
Go Weber!!

If Higgins and smith stay healthy i see the Cats going 9-2 or 8-3 on the season depending on the outcome of the FBS and Montana game.

A sensible observation. Agreed.
BUT I am greedy.

From a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being that Weber has absolutely no chance of winning, to 10 being that the Wildcats have no chance at losing, each Weber game and the outcome listed. The are solely my opinion and my opinion only, and barring any significant injuries...
at Wyoming (3)---Historically, what the Cowboys lack in offense, they usually make up for in defense. UW games are really not fun to watch, that is why they are not on TV. Still, as Wildcat fans can attest to (as it wasn't too long ago that they had a similar team, great defense, marginal offense), a great defense can contain a great offense.
at Colorado State (4)---For how Wyoming is, the Rams are pretty much the opposite (better offense, worse defense). Higgins, Smith and company could have a field day, especially if the Rams get beat up the week before against Colorado. Still, CSU could eke this out at home.
Idaho State (8)---Home opener against the border rival and perennial bottom feeder. An indication that something is seriously wrong if the Wildcats don't win this game.
at Portland State (6)---Any team winning in Portland is a tough act, but the Wildcats have the horses to do it this year.
Montana State (6)---First tough game, glad to be at home. Bobcats have a tough team and could push both the Grizzlies and Wildcats this year. Weber should get this game at home.
at Eastern Washington (5)---Almost too close to call. EWU playing for pride and Weber playing for the playoffs. EWU has been the thorn in Weber' side and this could be no exception. Weber can win here, but EWU would love to take them down.
Sacramento State (7)---Playing what could be the upstart in the conference this year at home helps. Sac State will surprise people this year, but Weber should get this game.
at Northern Colorado (6)---Tough game against another up and comer, this time on the road. Weber cannot afford to overlook this game, particularly after how the Bears played them last year in Ogden. Bears would love to trip Weber up, right before Montana.
at Montana (4)---Weber would love to avenge last season's playoff loss at Wash-Griz, and they do have the personnel to do it. But it is still Montana and it is still Wash-Griz, and it is still a very tall order to fill.
Northern Arizona (6)---Jacks at home after having a week off from the Montana game. Based on the history of the Jacks (a tendency to fade strongly at the end of the year) and the personnel of the Wildcats, Weber should get this game.
Cal Poly (6)---Possibly playoff preview. Like Weber would want to avenge their loss at Montana in the playoffs, the Mustangs would want to do likewise in Ogden. Problem is, the Mustangs have lost a bunch from last year.

The 2 FBS games and the game in Montana are going to be very difficult, and so are the games vs MSU and Cal Poly at home, I have 3 theories.
1.9-2 with only losses coming to the Mtn West foes
2.9-2 with losses to 1 Mtn West foe and the Grizzlies
3. 8-3 with both FBS losses and a loss to the Griz
Preferably I would like theory 1.

Don't forget about EWU...that will be a tough game and on the road. Hopefully the fans show up so we don't have to worry about the home games like bball.

Well first off Falkin...

great predictions. Second of all Weber at EWU will be tough but they probably will be wanting revenge from last years loss so who ever comes out of the gates ready to play is going to win that one.
