Can't believe how fast the summer has gone by and now we are on the eve of football in Cedar City. Can't remember ever so much potential and optimism for the 'Birds.

SUU needs to really focus and win a conference championship, so they can expand that craptastic stadium.

2005 1-9
2006 3-8
2007 0-11
2008 4-7 (Adams St, Texas St, the worst YSU team in decades, and NoDak)

You can't do much worse than you have the last 4 years, so it's hard not to be optimistic.

I'll give you the wins over:
Dixie State
Texas State
San Diego

There are a few toss ups, but I would be suprised if you finished 6-5. Looks like another losing season in Cedar City.

I would agree that Eccles Coliseum was better than Woodward Field before the recent major renovation of the latter:

Both stadiums were originally completed in 1967.

The reason that we were so bad this past year is that we had a coach that plain and simple should never have been there. Ed Lamb however has proved in his first year he is turning the program around and we will continue to get better, and we also nearly upset Northern Iowa in 08 :thumb:

SUU beat TXST in 2008 because our team came out on the field cocky and overconfident. By the time our coaches could get their heads out of their asses (the 4th quarter) it was a bit late.

You didn't comment on my thoughts on your 2009 schedule. Does that mean you agree?

Also, UNI played poorly on the road and won by 10. I think we all hoped for a blowout, but I'll take a double digit win on the road. Is that really nearly upsetting us?

It was 17-17 at halftime, you guys were number 4 at the time in the nation i believe, and we stayed around the whole second half if not for that fumble!!, yeah i think that counts :thumb:

Good God, what a dork.

:shake: :shake: :shake: :shake:

This kinda stupid ain't curable. Only with this a-hole can a team play bad on the road, win by 10, and somehow, lose.

Hey, if a loss makes you feel good, who am I to stop you? The game was never in doubt and there's no such thing as moral victories, either, Junior.

It was like a black cat pinning down a doomed pigeon who happened to flap a little longer. The outcome was inevitable...and sad....for you.

Actually the whole first half the game was in doubt for you guys as you were "supposed to blow us out" since we were just lowly SUU . Not happy with the loss but i was happy that it showed we can compete with the better teams in the FCS. As i said, deny it all you want we had your guys number there for a while old man :thumb:

You're the only a-hole talking about blowing you out, Smithers.

Regardless, you're still lowly SUU. You will be forever. And ever.

Not at all being an a-hole i just think its funny your getting so offended that we almost upset you guys  , if you cant take it dont dish it out. And im sure Capn along with every other UNI fan that you guys didnt expect it to be that close of a game, your to egotistical for that to not happen
