And one more list from Southern Pigsking, this time highlighting the offensive side of the ball. Elon's well represented on this list, and of course the Mountaineers place high! Being an App fan, I love that we have two QBs on the list (as does Elon). This list is a few days old, and with Furman getting a big transfer QB from UCLA, they could very well place two on it, too.
Quarterbacks
1. Armanti Edwards, Appalachian State, Sr.
2. Scott Riddle, Elon, Jr.
3. Jordan Sorrells, Furman, Sr.
4. Dustin Taliaferro, Samford, Soph.
5. Lee Chapple, Georgia Southern, Soph.
6. Bart Blanchard, The Citadel, Jr.
7. Mitch Allen, Wofford, Soph.
8. DeAndre Presley, Appalachian State, Soph.
9. Zack Jaynes, Western Carolina , Soph.
10. Donnie Kirby, Elon, Jr.

So, Appy's second string QB is better than WCU's starter?

Well, he did beat WCU last year in his first ever start!

I still wouldn't put the UCLA transfer on a list like that because he was not a starter at the FBS school and is only rated highly because of his hype on Rivals and Scout. I would have to wait and see him on the field before putting him on a top list like that.

Oh, I wouldn't list him just yet, but he certainly has the pedigree to make the list. Of course, there have been plenty of transfer QBs who haven't been able to cut the mustard over the years, so it all remains to be seen.

I was about to say yes he is better. He showed in a head to head meeting that he not only could win but earn SoCon OFF POW honors as well. That is pretty impressive.
