Saw that MSU had about 80 more yards off total offense at half... C-mon bobcats!

Cats miss 35 yd fg at 9:24 of 3rd qtr. Still 24-7 A&M.

Cats miss another fg from 32 at 2:58 of 3rd qtr. 24-7 A&M.

That's 2 missed fg's this half plus the possession in the red zone at the end of the 1st half where they got nothing. Could have been 13 more points and this could be a 24-20 game. Woulda, coulda, shoulda .....

The two missed field goals really hurt.
The Cats are racking up some yards but not scoring.

Real telling about A&M and Coach "Fran" who ran a fake punt (that failed) and took two timeouts in their last drive so they could get one more touchdown. I guess Franchione thinks he needs to impress some of the voters with that additional 7 points on the scoreboard. He must really be feeling the pressure to win if that's how he handles himself. Makes A&M look bush league.

I sure wouldn't guess that final score if I was guessing based on the stats - MSU had more yardage, first downs, time of possession... But the score is what gives you the win.

I'm not too disappointed given our situation coming into the season.

Given the fact that Coach Ash and staff had three weeks to put a team together, I feel really good. Three muffed FG's & a key dropped pass made the difference. Game stats the Cats outplayed A&M. I feel really good about going into the rest of the season and next weeks bye will only help in getting a few wrinkles ironed out.

Three missed field goals and the redzone fumble at the end of the first half made this game look a lot more lopsided than it was.

You care to tell me where the ball was aligned? I've always been anti-hash myself. Kaeding took a lot of grief for a playoff miss and a preseason miss the next year from a hash when Marty had plenty of opportunity to use a play to center the ball.

Would any of the Kitties' misses have been good had they been from the middle vice the hash?
