  • 1. Montana State__________9-0____12-0_____ The defending FCS champions are the clearest Big Sky favorite in quite a while
    2. UC Davis ______________8-1____10-2_____ The Aggies look down on paper, but their schedule is super favorable
    3. Montana _______________7-2_____9-3_____ The Griz enter their 12th. straight season with a head coach named Bob
    4. Idaho State ____________7-2_____9-3_____ Can Idaho State make the playoffs for the first time in 43 years? :o
    5. Northern Arizona ______5-4_____7-5_____ The 'Jacks disappointed when they returned most everything last year; can they now surprise after losing a lot?
    6. Idaho___________________5-4_____6-6_____ Can Josh Wood stay healthy? 'Cause the Vandals would really be in trouble without him :?:
    7. Southern Utah _________4-4_____7-5_____ The T-Birds can't possibly have a 3rd. different guy run for 1800+ yards and 20+ touchdowns, can they?
    8. Eastern Washington____4-5_____5-7_____ I don't think perennial averageness is what EWU fans are looking for
    9. Northern Colorado_____3-6_____4-8_____ NoCo's defense may actually be pretty good, but they lost their entire passing game
10.Cal Poly _______________3-6_____5-7_____ You just can't hire a guy named Skipper and not add a Gilligan :ohno:
11.Weber State____________2-7_____3-9_____ I'm always skeptical of a DI school going with a high-school coach, but the Wildcats at least get PSU & Utah Tech at home
12.Portland State__________1-8_____1-11____ Bruce Barnum has to be the happiest man on Earth now ;)
13.Utah Tech _____________0-9_____0-12____ The Blazers actually play 11 Big Sky opponents this year (all except Idaho)

The Bobcats are loaded while most everyone else seems to have lost significant chunks.
Davis doesn't play MSU or ISU.
There are a lot of potential playoff contenders here. Who will actually get there? :?:

Looks good, to me(of course I am a Cat fan). However, the Nevada game worries me. Choate is going to throw everything he can at the Cats. He looses that game he might be gone before the team gets to the locker room. He has a way to get his team up and play way over their heads for a game he really wants and trust me he wants to beat the Cats. See his first game against the Griz in Missoula, the Cats really had no business winning that game.

Nevada winning could certainly happen, but they've lost multiple FCS games this decade and almost lost to Sac last year. The Bobcats are the better & more talented team here, so they should win at least.
