vs. FCS: 1-0
Overall: 19-9
Best Performance: Sacramento St. 40, Northern Colorado 35 - The Hornets were shredded by Carver Cheeks (9 catches, 223 yards, 3 TDs), but they got two 100-yard rushers (5 in the last 2 games), 4 interceptions, and a late redzone stop to hold back the Bears.
Worst Performance: Portland St. 27, Weber St. 43 - The Vikings commit 5 turnovers and appear headed for their 2nd. winless season under head coach Bruce Barnum.
Most Surprising Result: Idaho 14, Eastern Washington 21 - Good teams don’t allow 49 points to Northern Colorado and score less than 20 points against Eastern Washington in back-to-back weeks. Hell, even mediocre teams don’t do stuff like that.
