Most Surprising Result: Sacramento St. 39, (#5) UC Davis 42 - Hornet QB Carson Conklin had his best game of the season—32/44, 389 yards, 5 TDs (1 INT) against a really good opponent—but that still wasn't enough to prevent the Hornets from tying for last place.

Most Surprising Result: Valparaiso 18, Davidson 17 - The Crusaders score a 17-yard touchdown on the final play and get a two-point conversion to let the now-fired Landon Fox go out with a win.
