Mellott, who was having perhaps the best performance of his career thus far, just went down with an injury after getting stuffed on 3rd. & short. The injury doesn't look good, either.

Chambers (in for Mellott) broke a big run inside the 40, but then got sacked twice in a row. MSU then punted and downed it at the 2. NDSU runs the clock out to force OT.

I was watching the game and thought it right after they scored so it wasn't in hindsight. It was based on the kicker's struggles and the possibility of him missing that XP or a later XP/FG.
