Well... it's about time to see that dynasty go and let another FCS team take over Frisco.

All this effort to end the Bison dynasty, and the end result is probably gonna be just replacing "North" with "South."

The Bison have had down years, but have always comeback. Won 3 in the 1960s, 4 in the 1980s, 1 in 1990 and 9 in FCS.

They'll be back but I don't think Jethro will be the one to lead them. The team's discipline has been on the decline since Klieman left and I don't see that changing until they get a new coach.

You are more than likely correct that Entz will be gone. We haven't had a 2nd half adjustment since he started.

SDSU is loaded with 5 & 6 year seniors. This is their year, again.

SDSU will not win it all again this year.

I hope the Bobcats can do it, tough job. Like to see Vigen do well.

I think they will be running the show for quite a while.

Now, moving forward, will we see another rebuild year for NDSU next year?

Depends on how long we keep this coaching staff. We were spoiled with Kleiman. This staff reminds me of the Babich years, when NDSU slowly got worse until he was let go. Then they hired Bohl, who later hired Kleiman as DC. That was the first year or the championship run.

Agreed.
I could tell Entz doesnt pay attention to details like Bohl and Klieman did. Bison play has been sloppy, more penalties and tackling has slipped in each of Matts years as HC.

I’ve said this for a long time
It was only a matter of time before they came back to earth after Klieman.
It’s not a coincidence they were a 500, at best, Valley team before Klieman got there. The second he got there and changed their attitudes and how they run things they start winning - and UNI falls off the map. Bohl was squarely on the hot seat before K got there.
He built such and insane foundation that it could run itself for a bit after he left, but it was clear from Day 1 Entz wasn’t going to continue what they had going. He looked like he could early in, but again he was left a program that anyone could have got a title with. The further away from Klieman we get the less and less of his finger prints are on it and the more the culture struggles.
NDSU never crumbles, but they are going to get used to settling into the same set up that UNI or SDSU minus the last couple seasons has been in. 9-2 ceiling, 7-4 floor. 5 or 6 Valley wins.

The NDSU contingent in the UNIDome last weekend was the smallest I've ever seen since NDSU joined the league in 08

Why go to Montana State when you can go to Montana?

This should be a obvious rivalry for that state.

It should be a rivalry but real rivalry's are not that one sided. Isn't Montana up by more than double or something close to that?
