First ever D1 playoff win. I think we won a couple D2 playoff games.
Amazing we were able to overcome Dunniway's horrendous decisions in a couple of instances. Credit to the Hornet D for making adjustments and shutting down the Spiders late. Wow, what a game. Glad that playoff monkey is off of our backs.

We made the D-II semis in 1988, where we lost to NDSU. Incidentally, our current BSC-mates Portland State lost to NDSU in the finals 35-21 after beating Bowie State, Jax State, and TX A&I.
First Round: Sac State d. Manure Pile 35-14
Quarterfinals: Sac State d. NC Central 56-7
Semifinals: ND State d. Sac State 42-20 (Ouch!)

The Hornet website now confirms that next week's QF game vs. 7 Incarnate Word will occur on Friday 09 DEC 22. No time has yet been published.

Congrats to Sac on the win over RU (how we refer to Richmond on the JMU board lol)..I wasn’t able to watch any of the games this past weekend, but it sounded like a hell of a game.
