Random fact I just discovered: former Griz QB Justin Roper is the OC at Furman.

He was the OC at Holy Cross before that (he must love purple ).

Quite a few sour grapes on AGS think the NCAA is corrupt and Montana bought their way into the playoffs. They're almost nutty enough to make me forget my respect for OLFU and Death Dealer and cheer for Elon. Almost, I'm rooting for the Paladins!

The ice cube tears shed by Penguin fans will cool many a drink in Crappsville.

Did Elon get some injuries? I wouldn't have expected a CAA team to give up the ghost like this....

I actually thought Elon would win this. I guess playing 5 playoff teams (+ Rhode Island) wore them down too much?

I could be wrong. I listened I didn't watch. But I think the game was closer than the score. Elon just couldn't score. FU defense played great. Alot of Elon's yards were long third down plays.

Now with that said. it's been 10 years since i have paid a lot of attention to FCS football. Who the hell is Incarnate Word?

Elon ran a fake FG pass to the kicker, which was blown up right from the get-go by Furman. The pass was deemed backward, so it turned into a turnover....
