With last nights win over Portland State the Weber State Wildcats have done things they've never done before.

For starters the Wildcats are now 6-0 for the first time ever in the program's history.

The Wildcats have also won a school record 8 straight road games. They have also won 22 of their last 24 conference road games.

Jay Hill also coached his 100th game as the head man for the Wildcats. With the win He is now 64-36.

Congrats to Coach Hill and the rest of the Wildcats for the success and achievements made.

Congrats. :thumb:

100 games, wow. Doesn't feel like he's been there that long.

Honestly I'm just glad the University finally decided to invest in the program.

Jay Hill has done more for this program than many people realize.

Well, y’all were lucky JMU pulled out of the scheduled Weber @ JMU..Just kidding, congrats. As I recall, JMU had to nix the game so could host a 5th FBS home game opening weekend (MTSU) in order to move up the FBS transition a season. Wish something could have been worked out. Weber would have been so much better to play for the FCS game than NSU (63-7 snoozer with a 10 min 4th qtr)..Also figured y’all wanted 1 more crack at JMU after the 2017 qtr final nailbiter, 2019 semis, and last season. Who did Weber end up replacing JMU with?

I used last year’s Sept game as an excuse for a 12 day vacation out west including Glacier NP. The game had been billed as the national OOC game of the year- was the then #2 JMU @ then #8 Weber. Probably the best visual setting of any stadium I’ve ever gone to a game at (granted the only other one I’ve been to a game out west is Washington). Been to some others (both Montanas, BYU, Utah) when they were empty. I know your past attendance hasn’t been very good. Hopefully its getting better attendance with your success.

Weber ended up replacing the JMU game with D2 Western Oregon. Didnt have many options. On the plus side it gave Weber a 6th home game which doesnt happen often.

Yea, he’s right. I heard Jay Hill sayin something about having to give a rusty trombone to get outta that game, glad it worked out for WSU. Congrats on being 6-0 WildcatRyan, you and the other guys in the Mormons teen choir better enjoy that 0 in the loss column, it won’t be there next Monday. :D

I know the feeling. It's nice when an admin at a D1 university actually acts like one.
