…From the coaches…
The Montana’s and Sac seem to be everyone’s hot pick. This is an interesting read and also gets into thoughts on the future of FCS. They mostly seem to think it’s a safe place to be right now.

My feeling is that MSU is the best team, albeit not by a lot. Sac is loaded on offense, but they lost a ton on defense. Montana is pretty loaded on defense, but their offense seems comparatively lacking in talent. Weber & EWU should be solid, but not likely good enough to win the league. I'm not sold on Davis; they look to be more of a middle-of-the-pack team.

It would be interesting to guess who said what. Barnum is always good for a quote so I'm pretty sure he participated.

Agreed with everything here. Didn't MSU lose a lot on defense? We've got a tough 3 road game stretch and an early bye right out of the gate. Should be an entertaining season in the BSC nonetheless.

MSU didn't lose quite as much on D as Sac (their #2 & #3 tacklers are still there).
