Grambling Continues Assembling Staff

New Grambling HC Hue Jackson has hired deposed Baylor HC Art Briles as OC. This has totally ticked off Grambling/Redskins legend Doug Williams, and it seems it has to do with what led to Briles' firing at Baylor: a major sex abuse scandal across the team and athletic department. Since his firing, Briles has coached in the Italian Football League and at Mount Vernon (TX) HS. Briles has denied any knowledge of allegations against his players at Baylor, and also any potential coverup.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

And just like that, it's over. Four days after Hue Jackson hired Art Briles as OC, Briles has resigned because of the protests over his presence. He didn't want to be a distraction....
