Originally, I had SW Missouri State in this game. I see no different result now that it's TN-Martin in their place.

Montana State d. TN-Martin 45-30.

Montana State 28, U TN-Martin 13. They will not even get close to putting 30 on MSU's defense. Our offense well that is another story we'll what they can do.

Guess we will see now that our starting QB McKay just entered the transfer portal. Not sure if it will be Mellot or Rovig starting. I would go with Rovig because he has playoff experience and played well in 2019. Bad timing IMHO!

NDSU had our best Dback do that last spring, right before the playoffs.

I think it’s a blessing in disguise, canyon. Dude had completely lost the team, and that was apparent in the Griz game. It’s obvious the other players did NOT respond to him. They much preferred Mellot…but I’d guess you’re right about Rovig…we shall see!

Maybe with Mellott/Rovig, the Bobcats' playbook will have more than, like, 6 plays.

And less one hop 5 yard outs.

Recent developments in Bozeman make this one trickier to pick. The Bobcats clearly have the better defense, though, and they've only committed 8 turnovers on the season. That means UTM is very unlikely to win the same way they did in Springfield last week.

Time will tell, you are correct it may be a blessing in disguise. Even if the Cats win Saturday (which I think they will), SHSU is a totally different animal. Just gotta line up and play with who you have and let the chips fall where they may.

No, but that changes with the info I first saw on SacBuzz this morning and has been presented in this thread by Venus. While I highly disagree with BDK's choice of language, I wholeheartedly support his sentiment here. This info completely flip-flops my pick.

Man does MSU look awful, but in fairness, the wind is blowing across the field at about 30 mph so the game is very one dimensional.
