You still might be overestimating the Eagles offense against a good UNI defense. Against their toughest opponents the Eagles have scored:
- 35 against UNLV
- 34 against Montana

FWIW, the forecast is warm. Cloudy with a high of 48, light winds. 20% of rain increasing to 60% after 4:00. Systems typically hit early so I’m guessing we’ll see a wet 2nd half.

I picked EWU, but wouldn't be surprised to see UNI win. Sac St saw the shape of things to come, late in the game when Theo Day took over for McShane. If the UNI defense can hold EWU under 30, and Weston has a big day, it could be all the Pantherz need.

UNI is better than their record, but EWU is still the better team IMO. The Panthers are also 2-5 in games decided by no more than two scores.

EWU will win 31-20

He got dinged up early and then got repeatedly hit. He’s a solid QB.

Weird game. 19-9 with the winning team making 2 4th and goal stops from inside the 5 and I would have bet a load it was the Panther’s game.

My observation. UNI was okay had flashes of competency. EWU? Gonna get killed by Griz next week. Pimo Jones wont get the 2nd string safety this time.

Any team that had 7 D1 wins. UNI was embarrassed today. EWU, who is nothing close to a defensive juggernaut, held UNI to like 2 points. MVFC is HIGHLY over rated. :ohno:

UNI should've been in, especially after all the SoCon at-large hopefuls took a dive last week.

Statistically speaking, the Panthers were very similar to Montana. They just weren't any good at winning close games.

EKU was 7-4, 0-2 against teams in the field
Rhode Island 7-4, 0-1 against the field, lost to Towson
Mercer 7-3, DII win, 0-1 against the field
Monmouth 7-4, 0-2 against the field, including loss to Holy Cross
San Diego 7-4, 0-1 against the field, and a loss to Cal Poly
UNI was 6-4 versus FCS, 3-3 against the field

YOu seem hurt. Anyone else with 7 wins like the standards require. I'm not sure if Farley knows Hunter or not. Sure looks like it. You seem to support that.
