EWU is pretty much done in terms of Conference Championship (and probably for seed as well, though they will clearly still get in the playoffs), but UCD is inexplicably still in the mix. If EWU is p!$$ed off after the other day, though, I think they can mess that up for the Manure Pile. That's what I hope to see.
I'd love to pick Sac as always, but this matchup against Portland State has no business even being on this list....

It doesn't?
We'll see.

UNI vs. Missouri State is the one I went with.
I am biased a bit I will admit.
I actually went with Just a Mediocre University @ Bill & Mary.
I was pointing out that the nitpicker missed a game between ranked teams. Next, he'll go all BDKaren blaming SuperHorny for calling them Southwest Missouri State.

Nice to see the "Urban Brawl" get some recognition, even if we were a little late to the party.
Yep. Just finished my preview on Sac Buzz. Teams are near even in a lot of statistical categories. I think this will be a close one.

JAL: If you haven't checked out SD's game previews and reviews, do so. Even when I disagree (when that happens, it's usually SH thinking with his heart and not his brain; it's NEVER on SD), SD's thoughts are ALWAYS well-researched and thought out. SD could make a ton of money if he were to market this stuff, but he hasn't pursued that. SD is VERY good, and I'm proud to have him on SacBuzz and here at CS.

I have a picture of you above my desk as I type those previews...

I think the Holy Cross @ Fordham game is for our first guaranteed bid to the dance (or has Davidson already locked in?).
A win over Dayton this week will do it.

No love for Chattanooga @ Mercer. This game is probably for the chance at a playoff spot. Chatty is 6-3 (5-1) and Mercer is 6-2 (5-1). Mercer only has 10 games this year and still has ETSU after this. So a win by Mercer this week and a loss to ETSU really muddies up the SoCon. If Chatty loses, they can still get to 7-4 but then they are a big bubble team because VMI could very well get to 8-3 including a win over Chatty.
SDSU ran the wrong play, and paid for it because the quarterback threw the ball too soon. The CORRECT play was taking the intentional safety to MAKE DOUBLE SURE the clock runs out.
A 20-19 win is better than a 23-20 loss....

I’m pulling for VMI for another trip to the playoffs.
