Yahoo! doesn't even recognize this acronym in a sports context. As far as Yahoo is concerned, this is an economic indicator or a construction tool.

Ivys lost me this year when Dartmouth barely beat Valpo. I saw Valpo in person, and Albany was better than Valpo.

If you've ever watched the Ivy's in person you wouldn't get caught up in any hype. The FCS is watered down, so sure, a good Ivy team could be a top 25 team, but they've never been elite FCS level, or even close to it, for the past few decades.

The polls 89 listed had the Ivys way over-rated. #2 Princeton. What quality wins do they have? Princeton would have a tough time in the Big Sky or MVFC, maybe a mid level CAA. Dartmouth was up on Valpo, 20-18 after 3, and lost to Columbia, an unranked team. Not sure why they are ranked. CAA and SoGone are watered down, others are stronger than when Delaware was relevant. Quite a few FBS wins this year.

The "few FBS" wins this year feel like more because the past couple of years have been so bereft of wins. I don't see anything historically that says we are getting that much more wins that in other years, especially the further back you go. And more than half the wins this year are still against the G-5 teams. I don't think the Big Sky is better this year than they were in their heydays of the early and mid 90's. The MVFC is clearly better, but where else?
