Taking into account yesterday's games and the anticipated result of the Causeway Classic. I've done this on the basis of a geographic division of the field, with some crossovers, and avoiding in-conference matchups in the first round. That created some line shifts, but here goes (and here come your boos). Since the NCAA doesn't really do an "official" geographic division, the actual bracket will probably look a bit different. Am I radically off?

Southeast Region

5 VMI at 4 Kennesaw State (winner to 1 (National #1) Sam Houston State)
6 Davidson at 3 Montana (winner to 2 SELA)
Southeast Region Champ faces West Region Champ

West Region

5 SW Missouri State at 4 UC Davis (winner to 1 E. Washington)
6 Sacred Heart at 3 Sacramento State
West Region Champ faces Southeast Region Champ

East Region

5 E. Kentucky at 4 TN-Martin (winner to 1 JMU)
6 Holy Cross at 3 ETSU (winner to 2 Villanova)
East Region Champ faces Midwest Region Champ

Midwest Region

5 Incarnate Word at 4 N. Iowa (winner to 1 NDSU)
6 William & Mary at 3 South Dakota State (winner to 2 S. Illinois)
Midwest Region Champ faces East Region Champ

Boy, I bet SELA would LOVE the chance to piss pound us at home after what we did to them in 2019.

No Montana State?

Why only 23 teams?

I'm guessing Montana State is supposed to be the #2 in the West Region?

Why do you hate Bryant? They beat SHU?
Also, Holy Cross vs Fordham will deterine the PL bid. Fordham has 2 FBS losses.
Pretty bold to say Nova is going to be a seed.

Andy:

1. I don't really hate Bryant? There are a few teams who could potentially take that conference, and it's still up in the air.
2. I think we can safely disregard Fordham. Both FCS losses were huge, including the one to FIU, and they've also lost to Monmouth.
3. Bold to make Nova a seed? How's that? They're coming out of the traditionally strong CAA (even if they're a bit down as a conference this year), they were respectable against FBS-ranked Penn State, and they beat FBS-bound JMU. That's good enough for a seed for me....
