Yeah he did over 1 spot in a poll. . In the STATs poll SDSU is one spot ahead of JMU, and VU is #6.

Its spiltting hairs. No one should get their panties in a wad over meaningless polls. Thank goodness we have the playoffs.

Shouldn’t those be walleyes or northerns?
Or perhaps a Shenandoah smalley?

Kind of a steep drop for the Griz. Not sure I agree with that. Beating #6 only got Sac 10 votes?!?

Steep drop? I don't think the current iteration beats any of the teams BELOW them (possible exception of J'State)...

As noted on SacBuzz, there's a big discrepancy going on here:
STATS: Sac State #19
Athlon: Sac State #13
HERO: Sac State #14
AGS: Sac State #22
Coaches Poll: Sac State unranked.
While I grant that 13/14 is pitching it a bit high on the basis of a win over a potentially rank-inflated Montana squad, surely a 4-2, 3-0 BSC record (the BSC is one of the top three conferences, right?) is worth a ranking of SOME sort....

Oh. I missed that. That's ALSO way overinflated. But look at where Sac and UCD are in the HERO Poll. I'm not happy with how the Coaches Poll is treating Sac, but HERO and Athlon seem to be going too far in the other direction....

Exactly. The only team that has had a softer schedule is probably SHSU.

Sam's schedule is nothing to write home about, but it's marginally better than KSU's IMO.Winterborn wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 12:48 pmExactly. The only team that has had a softer schedule is probably SHSU.
