EWU 62, WIU 56 :suspicious:
Sounds like another one of those EWU teams have great offense, defense not necessary..

Kinda, but it was more a tale of two halves. EWU led 62-28 with 10:00 to go in the third.

Weird game. We played way off the ball from the start and quite a bit of man even with a big lead. Didn’t force much pressure either. It was also hot and we looked gassed and we’re cramping up a ton.

I honestly had a feeling we would lose in the 4th quarter.

Shades of 2016 but the conference looks way better.

How is beating a Pioneer League team a scalp?

No, but plenty of others did. Attendance listed at 11,222. JMU had a very good contingent. Purple and yellow streamers flew aplenty against the Wasatch Mtns backdrop..

Were they thrown by the gay JMU fans with French names like Henri ‘Honree’? :D

I guess I didn't stay up long enough. I know Cal and AZ are a mess right now, but I honestly thought we had a better shot at a scalp against a weak FBS foe than NAU did.

Congrats to the Jacks!

Bad Pac-12 beats bad Big Sky in a normal year, but this year has been different.

I also saw a post from Bill Connelly showing that the average FBS-over-FCS margin this year has been 19 points, which is 9 points lower than the historical average.

JMU RB situation:
-AA RB still out/probably back next game 10/2 after bye.
-2nd RB: out serious looking injury late 2nd qtr.
-3rd RB: playing
-4th RB: suspended indefinitely earlier in week.
-5th RB: playing

Do run some 2 back sets. Good thing go 6 deep at RB…
Sounds like Montana’s RB situation. Currently playing 4th & 5th stringers….

1st RB - Blew out knee in spring
2nd RB - broke foot in fall practice
3rd RB - sprained ankle in UW game
4th RB - transfer RS freshman from Akron
5th RB - true freshman from Billings Senior HS
I didn’t even mention JMU’s 6th RB- 20 starts at URI, their leading rusher in 2018 and led them in TDs 2019. 7th yr senior (4 yrs + redshirt + med redshirt + COVID freebie yr). Had some nice runs vs Weber (3 carries for 32 yds).

Towson 1st string, moved the ball okay against the NDSU backups in the 4th quarter.
