This Week's Scalps

I'm sure all of our scalpers, particularly Montana and SDSU, will move up in the FCS poll.
But what about the FBS poll? Will the Griz and the Jackrabbits at least get votes. Could they even get ranked? The Griz took out a ranked P5, and SDSU won pretty decisively in their game against a foe in a high G5 league.

No. Sure, I got a bit excited. But there IS precedent. In 2007, Appalachian State appeared in the ORV in the final AP poll. Of course, they backed up the Michigan win with the REAL Division I National Championship. We have no idea what Montana's going to do yet, though I suspect that the Griz will make some noise in the playoffs, as will SDSU and possibly the Manure Pile....
