Former RMU Coach Joe Walton Dies

Joe Walton was the founding coach of Robert Morris football and coached the program for 20 years (1994-2013). His record at RMU, which was a non-scholarship program for the vast majority of his tenure, was 115-92-1 with 6 NEC championships (1996-2000, 2010) and 1 playoff appearance (2010).
Walton was also the head coach of the New York Jets from 1983-89.
