No decision is being made today. Just recommendations from the interim president. Board will decide in June.

Word on the street and opinions from some low friends in high places:

The president will recommend staying at DI.

Schedules, recruiting, new coaching hires (assistants) would agree.

“ Just my wild guess is that it will be a whole lot of the past 30 years. They will stay DI, reduce the budget, demand more fundraising and revenue, forgive the existing debt as I don't think they can cover it and still move forward. Need a new AD stat!”

The firing of Bodnar (very successful soccer coach) has many calling for the AD’s head.

No clue. There was no cause given. He won 3 BSC championships with two NCAA tournament appearances in 5 years. Lost to USC in OT the year the Trojans won it all. Team GPA of 3.6.
