Gil: Outside of the Manure Pile (which comes from personal experience, as Davis placed a pile of manure directly outside our locker room before we arrived for a game), I can claim no credit for those other ones. They were coined by other people on the Sac State, eGriz, and CS sites.

I DO have names for other schools, though. Prime among them are Jim Rome Community College (or JRCC for short) for UC Santa Barbara and Danny White University (decidedly NOT intended as an insult, as he's my favorite male football player of all time) for Arizona State. And I've accepted that Clempson name that others have brought here. I also refer to Idaho as Idalol and MT State as the Kitties, as is common at eGriz.

It's just west coast bias. Heck, us here on the east coast are lucky to even be aware that those teams are legitimate colleges, let alone know the made-up nicknames for each.
