16 team playoff, conference autobids. Then a fall season.

Over 9 weeks Feb-April, with the exception of McNeese/Tarleton St, who started a week early:
-8 conference games: MVFC, SoCon. A few teams had between 1-4 OOC games in the fall.
-6 conference games: CAA, Big Sky, Southland, OVC, Pioneer. Several playing 1-2 OOC, a few had 1+ games in the fall, most just doing the 6 conference games.
-4 conference games: Big South, NEC. Patriot. Several BS playing 1-2 OOC. A couple of the BS, most of the NEC, and the Patriot just the 4 game. Patriot has a league Champ game, so their AQ will have 5 games.
