Is it just me, or do they look like every other year?

No, it's not you. But items fans were happy about were the increase of the size of Montana on the front. Last set had it really small. That and the stripes on the shoulders are back.
They actually look very much like the uniforms back when we were relevant.

Numbers, etc., should have gold piping. Then copper (maroon), silver, and gold will be represented.

Ha! Close. We actually won our first national championship wearing yellow back in 95, and the next year switched to maroon. Montana has WR that intrigues me RYAN SIMPSON 6'6 190 he looks like a possible deep threat I would stick him on the track squad and hit the weights bulk up to 210-215 and hopefully his 40 time will be in the 4.4 neighborhood.
