- Best Performance: (#5) Montana St. 24, Austin Peay 10 - Isaiah Ifanse runs for 196 yards and a TD against one of the toughest run defenses in FCS to get the Bobcats their first semifinal appearance in 35 years.
Worst Performance: Northern Iowa 0, (#2) James Madison 17 - I don't think the Panthers would've scored even if this game was 120 minutes.
Most Surprising Result: (#1) North Dakota St. 9, Illinois St. 3 - The Bison move to 32-2 all-time in the FCS playoffs despite not scoring a TD at home for the first time since 2002 (when they were still DII).
