**********FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**********
GAM Labs Publishing Dec 1, 2019
Game forecasts are starting to come in over the wire for the second round of the 2019 NCAA FCS Division 1 PlayOffs:
Nicholls State @ NDSU*
GAM: NDSU -14; O/U 62; Mythical Score NDSU 38-24
5 Dimes: NDSU -28; O/U 53
NDSU 37-13 Nichols brought a good team and made it game.
ILS* @ Cent Arkansas
GAM: ILS -3; O/U 39; Mythical Score ILS 21-18
5 Dimes: ILS -2; O/U 38.5
ILS 24-14 Its amazing how tight the O/U was. MVFC still has 3 teams in.
Albany @ Montana State*
GAM: MSU -3; O/U 54; Mythical Score MSU 29-26
5 Dimes: Montana State -9.5; O/U 54
MSU 47-21 Just as predicted MSU goes to the air with well over 200 yds and 3 TDS!
Austin Peay @ Sac State
GAM: AP -1; O/U 57; Mythical Score AP 29-28
5 Dimes: Sac State -13; O/U 54.5
AP 42-28 Sac State is from california. California schools arent any good at football. Weak, common core oriented and no work ethic doesn't add up to good football.
Monmouth @ JMU*
GAM: JMU -6; O/U 60; Mythical Score JMU 33-27
5 Dimes: JMU -23; O/U 64
UPDATE : 12/2-9:29 EST JMU -28; O/U 64
JMU 66-21 Monmouth was not physically up to the task
UNI @ SDSU*
GAM: SDSU -5; O/U 45; Mythical Score SDSU 25-20
5 Dimes: SDSU -7; O/U 39.5
UNI 13-10 Hard fought defensive battle denies SDSU what they thought was theirs. UNI is one scrappy football team year in and year out.
SE LA @ Montana*
GAM: Montana -2; O/U 64; Mythical Score Montana 33-31
Is the altitude worth a Montana bump?
5 Dimes: Montana -11; O/U 63.5
UPDATE : 12/2-10:04 EST Montana -12.5; O/U 63.5 Montana 73-28 It was the altitude that caused this one to become lopsided.
Kennesaw St* @ Weber
GAM: KSU -3; 57; Mythical Score KSU 30-27
5 Dimes: Weber -10; O/U 52.5
UPDATE : 12/2-9:36 EST Weber -12.5; O/U 52.5
Weber 26-20 A good game, Weber was unable to cover the spread against a team that is better than most thought.

Nothing from 5 dimes yet.
The GAM has NDSU a 14 point favorite. The Bison can cover 14. This could be a great game for Trey Lance and the Bison receivers. For the Bison this could be what's called a Garrison Finish. Start slow and easy, play hard, finish going away.
ILS @ Cent Ark is a good match-up. Cent Ark comes in almost exclusively a passing team averaging 301 yds/game. The rushing game musters only 92 yds/game. If IlS stops the air attack and musters their own passing game taking advantage of the 278 yds the Bears give away each week through the air ILS should cover the GAM spread of 3.
Montana State is a slight favorite, -3, over Albany. The game promises to be a good one. Both teams may air it out. With the GAM forecasting an O/U of 54 this game may surprise with the over. Looking forward to it. Did the Bobcats launch with the route of Montana or did we see their grand finale?
As far as the spread goes Austin Peay @ Sac State is game of the day with the GAM forecasting Austin a 1 point favorite. Its even but AP does have a slight edge on defense, especially the rushing D. If they shut MSU down on the ground, which is likely, winning by more than 1 is possible for Austin Peay.
Monmouth looked good Saturday. Strong, competitive and well coached they looked prepared for JMU. Both JMU and Monmouth bring stellar offenses that can run, pass and score. JMU only allows 63 yds rushing/game. If that steel wall holds Monmouth will have to pass. In the mean time JMU will control the clock and game.
A clash of MVFC heavyweights will see underdog UNI try and knock-off the Jackrabbits in Brookings. Great town, great stadium, good game between 2 good teams. The Jacks are the better team on paper by a nose. Their typical game is 31-17. A typical game for UNI 23-18. That "over-view" metric clearly shows the SDSU advantages mostly built up earlier in the season. Details show the SDSU running game contributing a lot to the offensive advantage. UNI is getting hot. Maybe the week off will steady the Jacks and they will return to the type of football they played in Minnesota on opening weekend?
SE La @ Montana is forecast by the GAM to be a barn-burner, that is if the elevation doesn't sink South East Louisiana. These 2 teams are as equally matched as any 2 on Saturdays slate of games. Montana has an edge on both sides of the ball. Its slight but its there. If SE LA tires because of the thin air that edge will grow. Montana stands an excellent chance of covering the GAMs 2 pt spread with the win.
Everybody's team to hate, the KSU owls, are in the second round! The match-up could be epic with the Owls 346 yds/game rushing meeting the Weber defense which allows only 107. It could be the pass the elevates the Owls to victory. They don't pass much but if they have to Weber is a good place to do it. They give up 237 yds/game.

MSU May air it out? The 106th ranked passing offense in FCS averaging 165 ypg?
Missoula’s elevation? Didn’t seem to hurt CCU. It’s really not that high...1200 feet lower than Ogden, 1500 lower than Bozeman, and about half of the Walkup Skydome where USD didn’t seem to struggle much.

I talk with most, ignorant and informed alike, no reason for me not to respond to you cats2506.
In this particular game MSU may find their running game stopped or slowed down. They average 270 yds/game but Albany is only giving up 148. If the Bobcats need the pass to get the run going they will bring their 166 yd/game passing attack up against a defense that allows 209 yds/game. In this particular game the Bobcats could look like a very good passing team. If it works they will go with it. Its in the cards, we shall see how it plays out.

We hear that every week, the reason their rush defense looks good is because they haven't played the Cats yet
um's rush D was like 120 or something, and that is all we heard about until we rushed for 382 on them, now just crickets.
MSU isn't gonna "air it out", because that is not what we do. Cats will run the ball until the box is completely stacked, then throw it when our WR's have man to man coverage. Its not like we have a real QB or something.

Two high powered offenses outscoring almost everyone could result in a score fest. An over/under of 87 seems a little steep considering typical game for JMU is 42-33, Monmouth 37-26, don't see it but the spread is interesting: JMU -3. Not far from the GAMs JMU -6.
Dont see JMU covering 23 that 5 Dimes is offering. This game has been moved to analysis status for that reason. The Under is also under investigation.
JMU does have the edge but it doesn't extend to 23. I don't see the SOS issue amounting to that much if anything at all. Looking forward to this game.

@ 5 DIMES: The spread has increased from JMU -23 to JMU -28 but O/U stays 64.

Good bet if you take it. I think this game could easily be a shootout. I'm not seeing how the Hornets are 2 TD favorites. Also it will be raining which will favor AP since they just played a rain game and the Hornets have yet to play in any weather this season.

Wait, are you using weather as a disadvantage to the home team?
SAC better pull this off, and the Cats need to take care of business, I really want to see a rematch

Just saying we haven't played in any and they have, so yeah I'd give AP the advantage wrt to that. AP is an athletic team so unless we put the ball on the ground a bunch of times then their team will get the credit. As of now there is an inch forecast for Friday and a half inch for Saturday. It's going to be a wet one.
And yes I want a Hornet win so we can spank you guys twice this year.

We are actually deep under the stands at the Fabulous Fargo Dome, In addition we dont have a "blackboard" like that one. We use a mac pro, no graphics, just numbers. Its not online. Otherwise it's just about exactly like that.

I would be rooting for Sac State (conference and rematch), but I'd really like to host another round/tailgate.
