I'm not doing the position comparisons anymore because they're just too time consuming (specifically the defensive ones).
This one is pretty simple: it's a game involving North Dakota, and it's not in Grand Forks. UND was 6-0 at home, but 1-4 on the road this season. I also think Nicholls is the slightly better team, but the home/road thing should be the real deciding factor.
- North Dakota 21-35 Nicholls St.

UND bet the travel money and then some on a losing bid:
Chaves used the max the university could authorize ($50K) and then went out and found another $25K.
UND will need 450 yds to win this game or an advantage on turnovers, a pick-6 or other such event. 450 should be sufficient superiority over a team that normally gives up 411 but outscores opponents just enough to have a 3 point advantage over UND.
This is the biggest game in the history of UND football. It is a chance to get into the Fabulous Fargo Dome in the FCS Playoffs. Its the big stage. They have been playing in NDSUs shadow for a long time. Their last two visits to Fargo clearly pointed out why with two lopsided Bison victories.
They believe they have the team this year to make it to Fargo, the UND Frisco. To win is another story. This morning we see
NDSU -15 to UND with the mythical score NDSU 35-20.
JUST IN:
This week Nicholls State vs NDSU: NDSU -13; NDSU 34-21

UND, I cant believe I'm picking them to win on the road, but I want to see them in Fargo again.

Sioux receiver just made the Pop Warner mistake: trying to run with the ball before he finished the catch. SMH....

That play turns it over on downs with less than a minute left. Nicholls about to take knees.
24-6, soon to be final.

North Dakota's Big Sky tenure completely comes to an end.

Looks like Nate Ketteringham bailed on Sac State too soon. If he was told that he wasn't going to be the starter and got all teed off about it, well, it looks like Sac made the right choice. Ketteringham looked horrible from the little bit I saw. He had decent protection, but he couldn't find a receiver when it counted. And when he did, the dude tried to run with it before he caught it: a Pop Warner mistake. SMH....

This game was unfortunate for UND fans. They think they had a team and the loss is the fault of the head coach. it’s a little ugly at ss.com. The fact they were selected at all was a surprise to many. The fact their fan base thinks their ascension to the championship or at least a deep run was a given speaks to their inability to accurately appraise the strength of their team.
They end up saying things like this.

Well that was embarrassing. Where does the program currently sit?
1. Our WR group is too slow/white. It just is what it is. Our WR does not look D1. Tall slow white boys can ball but if that’s all you have it makes it really hard to get separation against even an average secondary.
The racist saying that is not getting much slack from at least one parent of a white UND WR. I guess the NCAA was correct when they identified UND as a racist culture with an unacceptable nick name.
