I like it. Congrats to both teams.

That's a good "get" for both schools. A challenging game, but not a "guaranteed loss" as most "play-up" games are these days, since par FBS schools won't pay us FCSers to come there and give them a whooping....

You know, back in the day, we played Hofstra (when they had a team, anyway). I have no idea why we can't fund cross-country OOC trips anymore. I'd love to play some CAA games....

There will be no I-A game for JMU for 2021. Apparently JMU couldn't find a willing team for an acceptable amount of $$$. Will be the 1st time since 06 no I-A game. No I-A game announced as of yet for 2023 or 2024 either. I guess its a problem NDSU is used to. Don't think JMU will accept less than 500k for a payday game. Got 550k for @ WVU this season, and have 500-600k future payday games.

11/21 - @ UNC ($500,000 payday)

2021
9/4 - Morehead
9/18 - @ Weber
11/6- Campbell

2022:
9/3 - Weber State
9/10 - Norfolk State

Yep. I think JMU will for the most part only do these games if they can maintain 6 home games. Which means either a 12 game season, which the way the calendar rotates, happens 3 out of every 11 seasons (this year had @ WVU @ UTC, still 6 home games), or when can't schedule a I-A game like 2021, so have @ Weber instead.

Other strong programs I would love to see JMU schedule in the future for home & homes. Besides the Dakota schools, would want ones with either a proximity to JMU, the beach, or mountains.

-YSU: schools are only 5 hrs/300 miles apart.
-Furman (my sister just moved to Greenville in August).
-Wofford (same as above)

Weber @ JMU on 9/3 is cancelled. Not sure if it was mutaul or what. Weber saves the $$$ to travel to the east coast for a likely L, followed by @ UT State the following week. Now they can use that $$$ towards an easier home game/likely W.
