NoCo 17-35 EWUEastern is 6-0 against NoCo at home, but—oddly enough—none of those wins were blowouts

Ida  24-37 Portland St.Since dropping back down to I-AA/FCS, the Vandals are 0-9 on the road

Cal Poly 28-38 DavisOne loss will end the Aggies' playoff hopes, but that won't happen this week

NoDak 28-29 Idaho St.The Bengals just proved they were a fraud, but they kinda have NoDak's number

Suutah 10-31 WeberThe road team has won 8 of the last 9 here, but that trend isn't likely to continue

Sac State 28-24 Montana St. — The Hornets lead the league in run D, so can MSU finally find some aerial answers?

Currently at 52-8 for the year and still chasing that elusive prefect weekend. Six games on the docket this week. Here is my attempt at perfection.

CP at UCD---Aggies need to break out of their funk and get back to winning. It won't be easy against a Mustangs team that enjoys wrecking havoc on anyone they face. The Mustangs won't come in scared but can they win?...UCD 31, CP 21.

UI at PSU---This one is actually easy. Both the Vandals and the Vikings have looked good at home and terrible on the road. In that case, it bodes well for the Vikings as they are the home team this week...PSU 35, UI 24.

North Dakota at ISU---Any chance for a Griz hangover this week? The Bengals better hope not, as they are the better team here and are playing at home. The only thing that could come in to play is that dreaded hangover...ISU 41, North Dakota 24.

UNC at EWU---This one was easy at the beginning of the season when the Eagles were great and the Bears were terrible. But it has become more difficult as the Bears can play against anyone and the Eagles can't stop anyone. Still,...EWU 35, UNC 32.

SAC at MSU---Good test for the Hornets to see if they are truly for real, heading out to Bobcat territory, facing a team that was taken to overtime last week. This should be a good one, even if the snow neutralizes things a bit...MSU 29, SAC 28.

SUU at WSU---The Thunderbirds have fallen off and the Wildcats have soared so far, so this should be easy. But any instate rivalry is never all that easy in football. Except this one...WSU 41, SUU 14.

What, pray tell, has given you ANY indication that the “Bears can play against anyone”...?

They have 9 TD’s in six games. I’m guessing Idaho was an anomaly.

If you are going by touchdowns scored, they have 5 in their first two conference games. They are averaging 25 points a game in conference play. I'd say pretty compatible with the rest of the conference (and better than what they were predicted to do).

Snowed on Wednesday, High of 50 and Sunny on Saturday, so snow won't be an issue... No wind is expected either, so perfect conditions for both teams. Don't know if that is good or bad for my Cats...

Just like it never rains in Autzen Stadium, it never snows in Bobcat Stadium.

Didn't they get beat 50-0 by Suck State?

I'll take EWU -7 for $1,000 Alex.

GAM: IDS -5; O/U 53; Mythical score IDHS 29-24

The UND power ranking is 1.0550 vs IDS Bengals .7942
Idaho is clearly the better team, but not by much. Its a cumulative thing. Slightly better on offense but demonstrably better on defense it all adds up to the 5 point advantage. There may be travel issues for the Hawks, we will see, but the home field is baked in, nothing added for home field.

5 Dimes: Idaho State -1; O/U 53

I guess I'm destined to miss one every week. This week it was Sac State, next week who knows. I'm at 57-9 for the year now.
