The UCD @ UND* game was a surprise but the GAM continues to insist the Hawks are legit. Looking at these teams on paper it sure seems to be correct.

Neither is a spectacular squad, both allowing way too many yards on defense, but even using the common opponent NDSU, The Hawks are just a little bit better. Its the same when looking at the overall season: the Hawks have done just a little bit better against their competition than Davis.

Best match-up is the UCD passing offense averaging 320 yds/game against the UND passing D giving up only 107. Problem with Davis is they produce a lot of yards but not enough points for all that production. A very inefficient football team.

On defense teams don't even have to go 85 yards to score the average TD against UND. This is a terrible weakness that might be off-set by the inefficiency of the Davis offense.

UND looked good against EWU in flashes. They are a physical team with some athletes that look like they are ready to play, sometimes. When they had the momentum against EWU in the second half, the kind of momentum NDSU rides to victory week after week, UND tossed another int.

If they could get serious about a full game of football next Saturday the GAM could very well be correct.

We won't be taking any risks with this game because the UND football team has not been consistent throughout games much-less game-to-game but we do see this as one of the great games next week.

10/2/19: UND seems to be fading but there are signs of life.

Here’s a look at UND scores quarter by quarter so far this season.

Quarter.....UND..OPP
1st..........31.....28
2nd..........9......35
3rd..........41.....17
4th..........20.....23
Totals.......101...103

There are 2 opportunities with UNI @YSU & INDS @ USD. Both games require 120 for 100, in fact all games are 120 for 100. The juice is a back breaker. We meet tomorrow to discuss this situation.

They may be having trouble managing the FCS book. There are no in-line bets available this week, there is one pick em and every bet requires 120 to win 100. We have been cleaning up and I presume others have too.

The Montana to win with $100 winning $220 last week may have cost them a mint and cost all of us our profitable in line opportunities. We took $440 from them on that one ourselves.

The in line odds are posted now. They probably aren’t having as much trouble as I thought

We are looking at UNI @ YSU and INDS @ USD. Both offer opportunities on the winner plus points and in line.

Not football but a big change at other NDSU athletic events:
NDSU announced Tuesday, Oct. 1, it will allow beer and wine sales at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex during men's and women's basketball games and wrestling matches this season.

Called in overnight:

We have taken
  • YSU +7. $120 wins $100.
YSU to win $200 wins $420.

The GAM sees YSU as a favorite Saturday @ UNI.

YSU has
  • outscored UNI 178-90 with similar yards gained.
    Outgains UNI 462 yds/game to 312
    has a stingier defense allowing 294 yds/game to 501
5 Dimes will give you 7 Points and YSU to win plus double your money and give you the juice on YSU to win out-right. Even if UNI can cover the spread you are shining like a daisy if you double down on the in line.
 Thank you so much.

The odds just aren’t there For the USD game like they were for the YSU contest. You only get $195 against a $100 for taking Inds to win. It takes $105 to Win $100 if you want th3 Sycamores and the points.

NDSU is rolling against a good Redbird team 23-6 with 4min left 1st half. They have used the long pass to score. The run up the middle for the long TD. The long sustained drive and a decent drive for a FG. They even tried an unsuccessful 2 pt conversion. No fake punt yet. Need to be 4 scores up for that one. Now they are running at the Redbirds eating up the clock.

Early in first half UND has just scored on UCD. The GAM predicted the UND upset.

Don’t know what attendance they will announce but the Alerus is empty. No game day thread on SS.com either.

ILS has NDSU on the goal line. Looking for the safety but NDSU punts it away. ILS was on thei4 heels but have stabilized and are showing signs of life.

UND scores again on a nice drive. Danny Freund (sp) is in his first year as OC but they look better than they have. I don’t know how good UCD is. They have 3qtrs to get their game going but until I see differently in its first year a pretty good UND football team is emerging.

The GAM suffers its first money loss of the season on YSU. We had 7 so it’s a wash on the YSU +7. We lose $200 on our decision to double down on the in line.

Called the UND game but the others I haven’t figured out yet. Plane leaving for Vegas.

NDSU wn streak is now at 26, the second longest winning streak in FCS history which is 33 set by NDSU. Don’t forget the streaks include wins over the likes of Iowa, Kansas State and the MAC champion as well as other lessor teams like Colorado, Iowa State and even Minnesota and Kansas. All of those wins were predicted by the GAM

Bison fans absolutely killed them on the in line and taking 45 against the Gophers. Their fans said the Gophers were good that year and had come out strong too. Las Vegas was staggered a bit. That’s when I realized Vegas had a weakness. They didn’t understand FCS football but did accept wagers.

Relying almost entirely on the flow of money and weak opening lines they often left glaring opportunities. It’s a little different now after having their hair nicely trimmed for a few years. They have gotten smarter, a lot smarter.

Using the Bison as my guide, some early development work under the north stands of the old Dacotah Field and some good old fashioned elbow grease the GAM was born.

Since 2011 the winning % for the Bison must be incredible. When I started posting here back in 2008/2009 NDSU was coming off a terrible 3 win season. That was the year they cleaned out a vicious criminal element that had crept in and was destroying team cohesion.

For the football Experts it was pretty clear what NDSU was doing, who they had coaching, on the roster and in the pipeline. Coach Bohl had built a D1 recruiting machine with his Nebraska DC experience. NDSU was bringIng in top notch coaches. The long lived tradition of BISON winning was alive and well for the knowledgeable experts. Not so much for non experts or the self ordained.

This isn’t going to change anytime soon. NDSU will completely dominate this division until they are no longer in it. Then you so called experts can get back on your high chairs.

Many have called NDSU fans arrogant or the “worst” fan base. That’s the way the world goes around. If you can’t handle the message kill the messenger. Well today the Bison own this division. It was all laid out here years ago. The GAM and the Golden Arm know football, especially NDSU BISON Football.

Thank you so much. 8-)

Ps. No prediction thread while in Vegas. Aerosmith, one of the last great rock bands still out there before Greta Van Fleet takes over, rocked the house down last night. Lines May be up Friday.
