Had 51 total tackles (38 solo), to go with 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, seven interceptions, one defensive touchdown, nine pass breakups and two quarterback hurries… Ranked third nationally and in the CAA in interceptions… Tied for fourth in JMU single-season history in picks and third in interception yards (145)… Also ranks third in the CAA in passes defended (16)… Returned an interception 82 yards for a touchdown against New Hampshire (Oct. 28), marking the third-longest interception return in school history... Career-high two interceptions in FBS-win at ECU (Sept. 2)… Had a 63-yard interception return at William & Mary (Oct. 21)… Career-high 12 tackles (9 solo) and 1.0 sack in FCS Semifinals against South Dakota State (Dec. 16)… Also had eight tackles and a half sack against Richmond (Nov. 11)… Had three or more tackles in nine games.
2016 as a Sophomore: Started 11 games at cornerback… Had 36 total tackles (24 solo), to go with 0.5 tackle for loss, two interceptions and four pass breakups… Season-high eight tackles at New Hampshire (Oct. 15)… Produced four solo tackles in five separate games… Produced at least three tackles in seven games… Recorded first interception at Maine (Sept. 24) with a 28-yard return… Intercepted another pass the following week against Delaware (Oct. 1)… Two pass breakups at Villanova (Nov. 12).
2015 as a Freshman: Played in all 12 games, making one start… CAA Special Teams Player of the Week (Sept. 14)... ECAC FCS Rookie of the Week (Sept. 15)... Had 16 total tackles (15 solo), to go with one interception, three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, two pass breakups and one blocked kick… Ranked fourth nationally and led the CAA in fumble recoveries… Scored first career touchdown on a 34-yard fumble recovery off a failed punt attempt against Lehigh (Sept. 12)… Recovered an onside kick in the Lehigh win, the first successful recovery by any CAA player in 2015… Produced first collegiate interception in opener versus Morehead State (Sept. 5)… Season-high three tackles in three separate games, at Elon (Oct. 17), at William & Mary (Oct. 31) and against Villanova (Nov. 21)… Recorded a tackle in eight games... CAA Football Academic All-Conference Team.
