I don't know if anyone is capable of knocking off the Bison this year, but—if anyone is—I doubt it's a team with a running back playing QB.
Here's my assessment of the matchups & my pick for the game:
- Quarterbacks -- North Dakota St.
Running Backs - North Dakota St.
Receivers/TEs - North Dakota St.
Offensive Line - North Dakota St.
Defensive Line - North Dakota St.
Linebackers --- North Dakota St.
Secondary ---- Montana St.
Kicking ------ North Dakota St.
Punting ------ (push)
Return Teams - Montana St.
Kickoffs ------ North Dakota St.
- Montana St. 6-35 North Dakota St.

Maybe I'm nervous about the game, but I think it could be a little closer until the 3rd quarter. 28-14

Not really worried about this game. I think it will be close for a half but after that NDSU opens it up. 35-17
Will probably have to do some extra finagling to watch the game as I will be in Europe on a business trip. Hoping work's VPN will allow me to login into ESPN3 to watch the game.

The Bison lead 35-3 and they just blocked a punt.

Nope. Not sure we need more than 8, honestly.

There was no legitimate scenario this season
where either Montana or Montana state should have been playing extra games (period)
two teams who's coaching staffs even admitted they weren't very good

Montana St has 2 new QBs named CASEY BAUMAN 6'6 225 and TUCKER ROVIG 6'5 205 I know that this would be the wrong time for them to get playing time but since no one thinks that they have a chance in this game I would give these guys some playing time.

This year's brawl was enjoyable to watch. Great entertainment.
People who want less teams in the FCS playoffs simply don't like college football that much.

I disagree... I love FCS
but it just feels like it's too easy to make the playoffs right now
16 feels like the right number

I greatly enjoyed watching 8 games on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend just like I do with Thursday and Friday of March Madness. It's intriguing. SEMO upsetting Stoney Brook, the Cats getting to host a playoff game with a young and on the rise team, Duchesne picking off Towson. I'd rather have the ability to watch those than not and I also think it serves as motivation for programs to improve once they get a taste of playoff football. Not to mention, these little towns benefit from booze, hotel room sales, etc. It provides good exposure and marketing opportunities for the subdivision
