Anyway, Nichols State leads Incarnate Word 38-7 with 1:08 left in the first half. Nichols has 408 yards of offense to this point of the first half. I just have to shake my head at McNeese not being able to move the ball on Incarnate Word last week. Watching it on the web. Incarnate Word is NOT good on defense.

As expected Montana is up 21-3 at halftime.

Wow. Sometimes the breaks go your way and sometimes they don't. This year McNeese beats Central Arkansas as a series of things go their way including a late game complete pass by Central Arkansas being reversed on replay when it looked to me like the guy caught the ball.

The weird thing is that last year McNeese looked physically superior to Central Arkansas. Controlled both lines of scrimmage, etc. And they got blown out because of mistakes and a few big plays. This year they had to scratch and claw and get the breaks and they won.

They won in spite of getting out gained by 402 to 294 in total offense. Last year they had a 417 to 323 edge in total offense as well as a 206 to 73 edge in rushing yards and lost by 47-17.

Weird how that works. Last year McNeese was way better than Central Arkansas physically and lost by 30 points. Way better athletes. This year they had no edge at all in terms of athletes and they won the game.

NAU rallies but loses to Cal Poly 38-28

PSU leads Sac 24-7, early-3Q

NoCo holds on to beat SUU 42-39
PSU now up 27-7 on Sac, end-3Q

PSU wins 41-14. I'm pretty sure Kevin Thomson again didn't play for Sac.
