Montana St. 24-
37 Idaho St. —
Which coach will bail from the sinking Bobcat ship after this one?
NoCo 34-31 Suutah —
The Bears have been way more competitive with Keaton Mott at QB
Davis 38-30 Montana —
The Griz will play better coming off the bye, but it won't be enough
Weber 13-
24 NoDak —
Weber's complete lack of offense will have to bite them at some point, right?
Idaho 13-
35 EWU —
Sounds like Gubrud is back, so no chance for the Vandals
Cal Poly 31-
35 NAU —
Sounds like Cookus is out (for the season, possibly), but Cal Poly's D is still garbage
Portland St. 27-
31 Sac —
Sounds like Thomson is… I have no idea, so I'll just take Sac 'cause they're at home

47-17 for the year, looking to improve. Tough weekend to pick this week as there are some evenly matched games, at least on paper. Still trying to get at least one perfect week but time is running out. Here are my picks in the Big Sky this weekend.
CP at NAU---Who's quarterbacking for the Lumberjacks? Does it really matter? Mustangs seem to be getting blown out of everything this season...NAU 24, CP 17
UI at EWU---Vandals have been on a bit of a hot streak lately and playing Montana State to within a point should give them hope. They will need a bunch at the Eagles...EWU 35, UI 28.
MSU at ISU---Bengals hoping to get back to winning after two close losses on the road. The Bobcats had a tough loss on the road at Weber and this isn't much better...ISU 35, MSU 24.
UNC at SUU---Bears broke through and finally got a win at home last week. The Thunderbirds return home after losing a tough one last week. Both need a win but only one can...SUU 21, UNC 17.
PSU at SAC---The Vikings were riding high heading into their off week that they may have wanted to keep playing. The Hornets, however, may be hoping for a do-over this season...PSU 28, SAC 21.
UCD at UM---The Grizzlies home mystique will no doubt be testing this weekend as the impressive Aggies are coming to town. Could it be an upset in the making? Maybe not...UCD 31, UM 29.
WDU at North Dakota---The Wildcats woke up and took care of their home business last weekend and now hit the road to face the Hawks who are back to being formidable. This will be good...WSU 21, North Dakota 19.

Well it kinda already did @ NAU....But yeah, Weber is gonna need the offense to step up big time. Weber cant turn the ball over 3 times and expect to win this one.
Weber State @ North Dakota - Weber leads the series 2-1, North Dakota has 1 game win streak. With several of UND's offensive starters out, special teams may be the difference, and Weber's is superior.
Idaho @
Eastern Washington - Idaho leads series 15-6 but Eastern has won last two. If Gubrud is really back than Idaho could be in for a long day.
UC Davis @
Montana - Griz lead all time series 7-0. While I think UC Davis is the far better team, good teams have gone into Wash Griz and laid an egg before.
Montana State @
Idaho State- Bobcats lead the all time series 47-30-3 and have won 11 straight. The long winning streak will be over for Montana State unless they get that offense going. Lucky for them ISU's defense isn't as stout as Weber's. But.....
Cal Poly @
Northern Arizona - NAU leads the all time series 11-1 and has won 3 in a row. Doesn't look like NAU will be getting Cookus back anytime soon, Cal Poly can win this game if NAU plays like they did last weekend.
Northern Colorado @
Southern Utah - SUU leads all time series 4-2 and have won 4 straight. Both teams are bad so I'll give the advantage to home field. SUU plays better at home and UNC is usually a horrible road team.
Portland State @ Sacramento State - Portland State leads the all time series 22-12, Sacramento State has won 3 in a row. Portland State has a little Momentum going for them and Sac State has been imploding. This is a potential swap game but I don't think it will happen.

Except you were totally uncompetitive in two of those three.

Yep...We are not close to a top 10 team. Still not a "sinking ship"

Not having someone on the roster that can throw a ball doesn't exactly spell out "full steam ahead."

You are correct, Cats are far from full steam ahead. But we do have at least 2 QB's on the roster that can throw. One broke his foot the week of the Idaho Game, the other is a Freshman. Why the latter isn't playing seems to be the mystery at this point. BUT still far from a "Sinking ship". We did get it handed to us by SDSU and EWU...Will you come on here and say the griz are a sinking ship if you lose to UCD this weekend?
Here are my picks
38-28 ISU
28-17 SUU
41-28 UCD
21-14 WSU
31-21 EWU
31-14 NAU
27-24 PSU

I thought that has kind of been implied of the Griz since the Portland State game.

Not according to griz fans...It is always something other than their team sucks...

Do you spend much time on BCN?

Yep...I post pictures on there. Most Cats fans I know will admit that we suck...Hell, I said the same thing on my radio show this week...But I wouldn't call it a "Sinking Ship". We have lost the games I figured we had a chance to lose, and won the ones we should have won...4-3 at this point is where I was hoping we would be. Figured we would lose to EWU, SDSU, and MAYBE either Weber or Western Illinois...So other than the coaches not giving up on playing a LB at QB (even though said player has made it very clear he wants to play LB), We are where we should be...A chance to win out (all be it a small chance) but if we do, we will be in the playoffs.

Well if you dare to venture to eGriz, I think there's a pretty solid consensus that we aren't all that good this year, and I haven't seen anyone blaming the refs, the cats, or the weather.

I thought the Griz became a sinking ship when the coaching change happened last year.

ISU over MSU. Bengals need this one bad as season could slip away with loss.
NoCo over SUU
Davis over fizzling Griz
NoDak whips Mildcats
Eagles poop on Vandulls
Lumberjacks chop down Mustangs
Portland State smacks Suck State.

Nice win Weber, but you need to stop gifting teams garbage points.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, but I have spent my entire life living in Bozeman and Missoula and can tell you with authority that both fanbases are equally rancid

As an ISU alum myself and most ISU grads don’t have that problem. We know when our team sucks.

5-2 this week, puts me at 52-19 for the year. I guess I'll take it (I kind of have to).

3. Idaho State _______________4-1_____5-3_____W1
4. Eastern Washington_______4-1_____6-2_____W1
5. Portland State_____________3-2_____4-4_____W3

Weber beat EWU, the only matchup between the 4-1 teams.
Montana beat Cal Poly, who beat NAU, while MSU hasn't played any of the other 2-3 teams; MSU then beats CP on (projected) Sagarin ranking.
Idaho beats NoCo on common games against PSU.

I about died when I saw what we were ALLOWING PSU to do to us. There were a couple of times where it seemed like Sears up and quit on us. Should have gone to McClure at halftime....
