Presbyterian's bad & Lindsey Wilson is a top-5 NAIA. I actually thought they'd lose.

The Rams win 23-16. Rhode Island defends their top-25 ranking with a road win over a good Ivy team.

The latest score was a pitch that bounced off the players helmet directly into the defenders arms who ran it in.

Since that was a pitch would be be counted as an INT or a fumble?

If it was backwards (I'm pretty sure it was), it's a fumble.

And the first TD came after a CP punt returner tried to pick up an almost dead punt at his own five with 2 Griz surrounding him. He then muffed it.

McNeese edged Stephen F. Austin 17-10. I could not see the game but it's clear that while their defense continues to play well their offense continues to have problems. And I think the problems may get worse. From looking at the play by play I think their starting quarterback may have gotten hurt. I say that because the backup's name appears in the play by play every time the quarterback is mentioned throwing a pass during the last two drives of the game. They did throw the ball leading by only 7 during both drives and I don't know if it's likely they'd have the backup in there doing that if something hadn't happened to the starter; especially when the starter is a guy that has been setting McNeese records throwing the ball and the backup is a redshirt freshman who hasn't seen much playing time.

Montana beats Cal Poly 48-28. An OK win, but not too impressive considering CP literally gifted the Griz 2 TDs early.

Montana has two badass linebackers and they can also put up points. Their headed towards 9-2 or even better.
WhIle Gubrud’s throwing motion and arm have improved, EWU’s receivers have the drops again. Takeaway the run and force the Eagles to beat you through the air...said no one since the Jesse Chapman era. (Quietly the defense is playing well)

The Southern is a hot mess except maybe Wofford who played well against Wyoming. The Southern has 4 one-loss teams with a SOS that belongs in the Southland, the best wins are in conference and two of the three playoff teams from last year are a combined 2-7.

Idaho State and Missouri State deserve a looksie at being ranked.

Colgate might be the 2nd best team in the EC(b). Or maybe 3rd behind...Yale.

Watch SHSU back door themselves into the playoffs and get a home game. They have no one left on their schedule.

I suck at math but it seems like there may be six 6-5 teams in the Valley.
