Oddly the MVFC has zero conference games this week. :suspicious:

Quite possibly the worst Saturday in years for I-AA games.

Couple games could be better than expected.

I'm sure there will be some close games, but close games between 1-2 teams aren't worth the bandwidth of putting them on the sheet.

I'm talking about the games in your poll.

UD/NDSU just for name value. Game will be a blowout, but it sounds like a good matchup.

I'm not as comfortable as you are for a blowout. Delaware has a good defense, NDSU average offense. I've seen NDSU predicted blowouts turn into a loss after a couple pick sixes.

I'm picking Delaware to win.

If I had to choose between closest score, I'd probably take SEMO @ EKU.

Yeah, I wish we were talking about a decent Hens squad. I'm not sure they will score an offensive point.

I don't think Delaware is god awful, they are what they are - a team that will likely narrowly miss making the playoff field. They'll probably have a winning record and be 5-3 in the CAA - not terrible, just not something to write home about.

That's not decent for a team that used to be in the mix most years.

Mercer 30 - Samford 24 took all my interest out of Samford, especially after Cuse made FSU look really bad.

And UND beating Sam took any luster off that one.

At the risk of being told to start my own damn poll...

Almost every team will have bad game and Samford can beat anyone with Hodges at the helm. Chatty is still an unknown at 3-0 but so so is the entire Southern.

What if UND is good? The Ketteringham transfer from Sac is a very capable QB, Oliveira and Santiago may be the best RB tandem in FCS, and Deion Harris is a legit NFL type cover corner. Plus, Sam has the 2nd most wins in FCS this decade and has missed the semi's only twice. If they lose to another playoff team from last year, they may be cooked.

Meh. Loser of this game is a bad team. Winner is still unproven.
