This one should be close. I'll go with the home team because they have really good special teams and absurdly good redzone defense (9 TDs in 28 trips).
Here's my assessment of the matchups & my pick for the game:
- Quarterbacks -- Western Illinois
Running Backs - Weber St.
Receivers/TEs - Western Illinois
Offensive Line - Western Illinois
Defensive Line - (push)
Linebackers --- Western Illinois
Secondary ---- Weber St.
Kicking ------ (push)
Punting ------ Weber St.
Return Teams - Weber St.
Kickoffs ------ Weber St.
- Western Illinois 23-28 Weber St.

What I believe to be game of the week round 1 edition. Western is legit and Weber is gonna have to play thier best game to win. Glad this one is at home. Cant wait to watch it live.

Been a good game so far. WIU moved the ball early, but Weebs D has adjusted and they haven;t done sh!t since about mid 1st qtr. Weebs offense needs another score and this is probably over.

The two teams' pants are literally identical in color.

Oh, well, doesn't matter. WIU just fumbled it away anyway.

Not buying the 6,800 attendance number for this game. Stewart Stadium holds 17,500 people which would mean each side (which are the same size) would have to hold AT LEAST 8,000 fans.
After looking at the picture above Im just not buying that number.

The only visitor section at Stewart Stadium are the last 2 sections on the right of the picture, the middle section is band and students and the rest is GA.
edit I think I get what you're saying now.
This is the other side

Right, but I meant visitor's bench. Usually the smaller side and less full. Looks close to 4-5k in that picture alone and I would think the home side had more.

I edited my earlier post to reflect what you were asking. Both sides of Stewart Stadium are the same size.

We're on the same page now. But those sides look disproportionate. I'd guess close to 10,000 on the home side (looks about the size of UD's sides that are equal) and 7,500 on the visitors side.
We are in agreement that there are more than 6500 there.

Wow, the big press/box building makes it look a lot bigger. But obviously you'd know. This gives it a very different perspective...

The stadium sides are not tall, they just go back quite a ways,
this picture is old and small but it's the same stadium.
