I think it was more missing the playoffs and losing to a down MSU team two years in a row, the exact same way each time.Wildcat Ryan wrote:I guess you can only lose to Montana State, Eastern and Weber so much before you get the axe.

Strahm did play great down the stretch this season: his play in the 3 November games was top notch. The Griz have always had a revolving door of good players in the front-7, though. Hopefully that will continue.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:Grizalltheway wrote:Hope we don't lose any of his players/recruits. And the Big Sky is as talented as ever too..............I wont even go into this discussion with people like you but I will ask you one question:
Who is going to replace Strahm next season?
Nobody close to his talent
Nobody close to his fire
Nobody as nasty
Nobody to bring the Strahmination
I could do this for at least 9 other positions but with all this talent falling from the trees I am sure you have answers for that so stick to the MLB question and spare me the Vika hype......(lack of) we saw what happened when he got his chance.
Today Grizzly football was defined by those who were timid and weak.
VERY well put!Mvemjsunpx wrote:Here's a great blog post about the firing, especially this quote:

We could land nothing but 4 and 5 star recruits and the self-proclaimed guru would find something to bitch about with our talent level. And then pick 4 MVFC teams to make the semis.kalm wrote:You just went into the discussion with people like him...ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:

He was one of the 2-3 finalists for the JMU job Jan 15’...Vidav wrote:There are rumors that Hauck might be coming back. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea, if he learned how to win NC games.
Oh in your world they are all 4 and 5 stars. There in lies the problem.Grizalltheway wrote:We could land nothing but 4 and 5 star recruits and the self-proclaimed guru would find something to bitch about with our talent level. And then pick 4 MVFC teams to make the semis.kalm wrote:

There isnt one team in the BSC other than SUU that would win more than 4 games in the MVFC. Its ok, just deal with facts.
Did he recruit Montana's only first teamer?ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:Look at all that Montana Stitt recruited talent DOMINATING the BSC awards!
