Griz and Weebs both need a win to stay in the hunt for a share of the conference title. If NAU loses they're still very much in it.

Sac needs a win to stay in. They are 3-1, so they can still win/share the title.

Right, but in our game BOTH teams need the win, ergo, the stakes are higher.

Montana/Weber is going to be a great game. Hopefully Weber's qb is full strength, they will need him, Ill be watching this one closely.

Well you know which one I had to vote for. Within the Southland Sam Houston State at Southeastern Louisiana is also interesting. Southeastern Louisiana has been up and down but they're very physical. Second in FCS rushing yards per game at 321 but I think they may be first in yards per rushing attempt at 6.37. Sam Houston State's 89th in FCS rushing defense at 192 per game and 4.91 per attempt. Sam Houston State on the road. Going in, at least, it looks interesting.

I, of course, went with the homer pick, but UM-BBQ IS an outstanding matchup.

If Central Arkansas beats McNeese it's virtually certain they're the Southland automatic bid. Their last three games are at currently 1-6 Lamar, at currently 1-6 Incarnate Word, and home vs. currently 2-6 Abilene Christian.

And you're more than likely going to end up with two 10-1 teams from the SLC and two 9-2 teams with the best win OOC being a marginal playoff team in Richmond and with the highest FCS SoS being 43 and the rest above 50.
Ugh!
Talk about bracket busters...

I'm only seeing three 9+ win teams from the Southland, with a 4th at 8 wins (I don't see Nichols winning out). We'll see. As far as Richmond part. UR will lose at least 2 more and won't make the playoffs.
10/28 SBU
11/4 @ VU
11/11 @ JMU
11/18 W&M
Heck, just losing 1 more (to JMU) would give them 7-4/5-3 with 4 I-AA losses and likely no playoffs..

I fully admit to voting for the Montana game but only because of what it means for both teams. If one team or the other was tanking I would have picked something else.

The loser of the game could very well be facing playoff elimination. And neither team has an easy remaining schedule afterward.
Almost a must win for both teams.
